Weird Weekend:
Had a pretty typical weekend. You know. Work, no sleep, more work. Did some shopping for Christmas goodies on Saturday. Of course, I bought a lot of non-christmas goodies as well. I seriously don't think I got all my shopping done. *sigh* Oh well. I'll figure it out later.

Of course, shopping means that I really didn't get nearly enough sleep on Saturday. So, I was having all sorts of fun on Sunday. I'm surprised I didn't post more yesterday. I had thoughts for more posts, but wisely opted to not have a sleep deprevation induced post fest. Oddly enough, I was wide awake all through work at my second job for the day. And for my drive home as well. And I managed to stay up until 10 last night.

Gaming! Of Course:
One good thing came of sleep deprevation. I have a character concept for a Shadowrun character. Bad thing is, I'm not sure what kind of character she will be. This was more of a focus on who the character was and where she came from kind of thing.
Thoughts continued generating on my drive in to work this morning. It's great that I can come up with all this back story, but it's not helping me actually make the damn character. :-p

I just need to sit down with the book for a few days and read it cover to cover. And I need to ask all sorts of questions to the guy who will be running it (like, how exactly would/did the Catholic Church react to Goblinization) and generally make a pest of myself. satyr_mi thinks we need to have a sit down in a room with the GM character generation day since neither of us is really capable of doing it on our own. :-p I mean, I used the character generator and whatnot, but still.

Oh, yeah, gotta remember to download the update to the character generator. It got updated on 12/7. We got it downloaded for us on Thanksgiving. :-p

Buffy:
Watched more and more Buffy goodness. Watched more audio commentary. There was much rejoicing. And some hilarity. Although, watching The Body with audio commentary doesn't make the episode any less disturbing.

Want season 6 now. :-p


Ok, I started this at 9:26 and got caught up in work. :-p Going to post it now.

Well I read the gaming portion of your post to the guy that will be running the game. His reply about the Goblinization was "exxxcelent." :) You and Satyr_MI are in better off than I am with character generation. We do not have a copy of Shadowrun 3rd ed. I have never played although I have spent many hours watching different campaigns.

When we borrowed the book from you, I just skimmed it. We will have to buy a copy before we all start the game. A few more sessions of the Werewolf game to wrap it up.

I'm not going to be able to go. :( I already had plans to spend the day with Keith and finish last minute Christmas shopping, seeing as it's really the only day I have to do it. :(
