One of Life's Little Annoyances

Getting the hiccups at work.

Not just any hiccups, mind you. But hiccups that make me sound like someone shoved a duck inside a tube and started zapping it with a taser. We're talking big, world shaking hiccups that cause the disappearance of small islands.

And they just won't go away.

Hold your breath. Works for me. Hold it until you nearly go blue in the face. If you do go blue in the face and faint, at least you'll be sent home.
