Tuesday is the day of Rampant Stupidity

I would post it here, but winterlady so has first dibs on the true nature of stupidity today.

Movieness:
So, I decided to watch a movie last night. After much thought (most of which was going through all the DVDs on our shelf and randomly grabbing one) I wound up with Scooby Doo. Watched 10 minutes and decided "nah". Was going to just go online and veg out, then decided to watch an audio commentary. So, I watched the cast Audio Commentary track. Highly amusing.

Bad Kitty! No Pounce!!:
William has taken to jumping on the kitchen counter. Only when I leave a cheese wrapper on it, but still. Bad kitty. And the minute he heard me walking towards him he jumped down, got that look of fear in his eye and fled. Smart kitty.

Dungeons & Dragons:
I brought books! Go me! Brought the PHB, DMG, Races of Faerun (useful, trust me) and The Draconomicon. I did forget to bring the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting which makes Races of Faerun slightly less useful, but oh well. They have sub-races up the yin yang in there. Very useful for he who makes too many of them anyway.

Two thoughts -

1. Keep full spray bottle at hand at all times. Spray kitty when on counter. Eventually she'll associate counter with "wet" and stay away. otherwise, always keep your counters wet. That will also work.

2. It's good to have books... it sucks when you have no time to look at them. Such as Rampant Stupidity Tuesday. You will spend the whole day battling the forces of stupidity today... no time for gaming!

Well, we have the spray bottle. I just have no idea where it is. :-p He normally doesn't go on the counter. I had left some cheese up there, though, so he went after that. He thinks he's a starving kitty, what with the big huge honking sack of flesh on his belly that swings back and forth like kitty-udders when he runs. Of course, he doesn't run so much as try to slink at a high speed...

I'm looking at books now!! I'm on lunch!!! x_x
