It's been a few days since my last post. I was going to post more about Wonderfalls this weekend, but never got around to it. Suffice to say, the show is awesome. If you aren't watching it (and according to the ratings, you probably aren't) you should be.

Once upon a time, I was determined to update my journal every day. Sometimes multiple times a day. It's something of a habit with me. I enjoy something, then do it over and over until I can't even look at it anymore. :-p I burned myself out on Chicago by watching it pretty much every day for two weeks, although I may start watching it again soon since I have the soundtrack in my car. I burn myself out on video games the same way. So, I've sat at work, did my work, read my subscriptions page, and then thought to myself "I'll post when I get home and have something interesting to say." Of course, I don't wind up posting. I think part of my unplanned quasi-hiatus recently has been stress. Okay, most of it has been. I even went and tried to almost have a teensy tiny ultra-mini freakout a couple weekends ago. I have a feeling that was just me having been up for 36 hours and not the actual stress, though.

Fortunately, this upcoming weekend brings with it a much needed vacation. [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi are going to go out to [livejournal.com profile] lilacmoon5's place for the weekend for gaming. Hopefully we'll finish up the Werewolf game. Then maybe I'll finally play Flux because it looks really fun. I was just too tired the last time it was played to actually want to play it.

I'm enjoying the Werewolf game, but the current story just needs to be over already. I wouldn't mind coming back to the characters later, but I'm definitely ready for something else. That something else would happen to be Shadowrun, and I think I have finally figured out my character for it. I might post her up here at some point. Who knows. Maybe I'll convert my [livejournal.com profile] lisastall journal into a "gaming" journal. Of course, then I'd have to futz around with loggging into said account on something of a more regular basis. :-p That is probably not going to happen.

I've stopped using AIM at work recently. I decided that I am far too easily distracted and need to actually focus on my work at work. I also wouldn't mind a promotion and big ol' raise, so I'm really trying to work hard on that front. It's actually been pretty good so far. I've gotten a lot more work done and I've been a lot more focused on it. I still sometimes use AIM on my lunch break or on Sundays, but not really during the regular week. Of course, that's also partially why I don't post a gazillion times on LiveJournal lately. I try to post when I'm on breaks, such as now.

I've been fairly anti-social lately. I'm not even sure right now when the last time I hung out with [livejournal.com profile] dianak or [livejournal.com profile] eligrrl was, and I saw [livejournal.com profile] brigittefires, [livejournal.com profile] rainbowravenx, and [livejournal.com profile] templar_rose about a month ago. I think I hung out for a couple hours with [livejournal.com profile] nofunk81 a couple weekends back, but I don't remember the exact weekend now. I've basically been in the go home, feed the cats, and veg out mentality of late. I have taken dinner to [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi at work a few times the past couple weeks, but that's about it. I just want people to come visit me for a change. :-p Of course, the extent of my bribing power is Buffy and Angel on DVD, but oh well.

Speaking of Buffy. I have once again turned into a total freak of nature who spends all day watching it. :-p I watched about 4/5s of Season 3, then watched ALL of season 1, all but 4 episodes of season 2 (and those 4 episodes I've seen a dozen times or so each), all of season 4, and am working my way through all of season 5 right now. I just finished watching I Was Made To Love You, which of course means that major pain and moping are now in store with The Body. I'm almost tempted to skip it because I have seen it several times and I really could do without a cry fest tonight. :-p Of course, Tough Love and Spiral aren't exactly high on the humor and bounce factor either.

Well, I think I'm done for now. Maybe I can come up with more D&D stuff to post at some point today. :-p

I feel bad cuz I haven't come to visit you more :(

but it's just so easy to meet up at red robin after work... and of course, working til 8:30 doesn't make me incredibly social at any time other than during weekends... but that changes at the end of next month. But are you interested in red robin tonight? tuesdays I'm off work at 6.

I had Red Robin this weekend, and way too many curly fries at lunch. So, probably no dinner at all for me, unless I make a grilled cheese sandwich at home tonight. And I really have to do laundry. I'm out of clean shirts. x_x

I would say maybe next week, but I'm on vacation and all that good stuff.

Well, I hope you have a good time on your vacation... maybe the week after, then :P

Otherwise, maybe sometime after mid-april, when I'm finished with the hell that is this stupid split-shift crap.
