It involved a huge house that was pretty dark inside, kissing Matthew Broderick (teh fuh?), and a Bette Middler concert, only she couldn't find where the stage was.

I am pretty sure that seeing the trailer for that is what prompted those two to be in the dream. In fact, Matthew was married to Nicole Kidman in it, so it had to have been. Of course, he looked like he did in Godzilla, and he was totally gay, which may have explaiend why he was married to Nicole...
