I got in to work a little before midnight. Got in, got to work, got my laptop set up and had some water to drink since I forgot to bring change to get a soda with. All in all, it was a fairly un-interesting night at work. I websurfed some, almost watched part of "Underworld", but didn't really want to watch a movie. I did some City of Heroes stuff, read a little bit of my book, and generally was pretty bored.
I got out of work at 8. I met the new guy briefly before leaving. He was way groggy and either I was imagining things or he has abnormally small hands. They were also quite cold, but that could be because he had been outside and it was a little chilly.
Anyrate, I went home and played a little bit of City of Heroes. Fed the cats, got a bowl of cereal, played a bit. Then
satyr_mi woke up.
You know how after you've known someone for a while you can almost immediately know what's wrong the second you see them? Yeah. We're not talking as bad as when his wisdom teeth got all compacted and seriously painful, but still. He's definitely not a happy camper. I hope he's feeling better today.
I stayed up with him on and off. Advil wasn't helping much with the pain and he was a wee bit panicked. We couldn't really take him anywhere to deal with it then, but we semi-planned getting him in to UofM as soon as possible. Unfortunately, that equates to Monday, which would be a day that I really can't take off from work without getting written up for too many unplanned absences. I know that he could do it on his own, although waiting an hour or so after being done there before driving would probably drive him insane.
I slept on and off through the day, watched a little bit of "Awakenings" with him. Tried keeping him calm (oral sex apparently works well for dulling pain ~_^), and eventually passed out for a few hours at a time before having to get ready for work.
Of course, work leads us to today (Sunday), so that will just have to wait.

TMI comment
Actually, someone did tell me once that sexual stimulation (like oral or masturbation) does relieve minor pain. I think it has to do with the brain responding to the new stimulus and well, that's definitely good stimulus.
Re: TMI comment
It worked a little bit, but definitely not a cure-all on that front. :-p
Thats Sucks

Thanks. :)
