Okay, so I'm a bad LJ Reader. :-p

Happy belated birthdays to [livejournal.com profile] mat_t, [livejournal.com profile] vvookiee, and [livejournal.com profile] xiombarg!

Welcome to fellow Waller, [livejournal.com profile] dagis! Another one sucked into the LJ Void! *insert maniacal laughter here*

City of Heroes:
Wound up playing way more City of Heroes last night than I expected to. I got sidekicked up in an SG group. muscleboy wanted to get a mentoring badge, and he was working on his Warden badge. So, I helped out. And I got my Warden badge after he left and I was sidekicked to Bruised Lee (aka Deddy). It was much fun. Because, ya know, beating up guys in orange jumpsuits with fully automatic weapons is the definite way to show your hero potential. :-p

The upshot of the evening, which kicked into high gear as soon as I got my Warden badge, was plowing through Crey and 5th Column in Brickstown and getting myself out of debt. Yup, you heard right. Kung Ru is currently living debt free! Now I can take that timed 5th Column mission I've got sitting on a contact, finish it, and then see if my Tsoo mission will bump me up to 25th level. Once that happens, my new contacts will finally talk to me and I can start getting more missions and more experience and more levels and it'll be a fun time for all! I've only got about two bubbles left to go, I think. We'll see. I'll probably continue to reset the Tsoo mission until I level just so I don't have to resort to street sweeping in Independence Port. Not that I hate street sweeping, it's just not my idea of a good time. And I really don't feel like wandering out to the outskirts of Talos Island looking for Circle of Thorns to level up with, and street sweeping in Talos is problematic for me at best. Either things are too low, or they're too high. And there's never any decent concentration of them anywhere to be steady. At least in Independence Port, I've got a really good block or three I can work over with very little downtime and risk.

The Sims 2:
I played so much CoH last night that I didn't even load up Sims 2. :-p Oopsie. Not a big deal. I need some decompression time to get more ideas. Going to re-re-re-restart the default neighborhoods and start pairing up people willy nilly. Well, okay, not really. Don will do his woo-hoo with Nina and Dina. Cassandra will convince him to get married. Dina will propose to Mortimer, but she won't get married at first. Brandi will get her kids into Private School, and will avoid lecturing Dustin ever. Darren will pay off his bills, then he will be the unfortunate witness to Don and Cassandra's marital bliss on the day that Mortimer marries Dina at his own home. Mary Sue will remain blissfully ignorant of Daniel's fling with the maid, but he will dump her for the next pretty thing that flits on his radar. Lillith will reconcile with her entire family and eventually become best friends with her sister and father. Finally, Brandi Broke will become smitten with Remmington the maid, and start a new chapter of wedded bliss.

God it sounds like an episode of One Life To Live or something.

Worky Worky:
I had already gone through all of my open cases that I can actually do anything about by 8:38 am this morning. That's when I started writing this entry. I've taken three calls since then. :-p Or maybe it was two calls... I don't remember.

I went down to the cafeteria this morning before punching in. I was hoping they would have diet little green devil bottles, but alas they didn't even have regular little green devil bottles. So, I got a little orange devil bottle instead. I must greedily take all little orange devil bottles I find before they are discontinued again. The little orange devil bottle is your friend. So, I shall now go nurse my little orange devil bottle and hope it spawns a veritible army of little orange devil bottle-lets.

Fear the little orange devil bottle. ^_^

Thanks! :)

What's the Warden badge...Prisoner boss kills?

And no, it doesn't sound like a soap opera...there's not nearly enough infidelity or secret murder. Or coma victims at that. ;)

Devil bottles?

Warden badge is for Prisoner kills in general. Doesn't matter what kind. I got the badge after we took out a Lieutenant. I also got the Ziggaraut(sp?) badge for going to the entrance of the prison.

Little Green/Red/Orange/Black Devil Bottles! Term coined (or at least imparted to me) by [livejournal.com profile] dianak.

Huh. Didn't know there were any kill badges for any and all. Usually it's for a particular type of mob - bosses, Gears, etc. I've got the Ziggurat badge myself...I've got all of the exploration badges and history plaques up through Brickstown. I can't hunt there myself yet (only a 29 controller), but I flew in and got the stuff there. Any higher zones I don't think I'd survive in. *g*

There's a few badges that seem to be generics. Skulls seem to have one according to the short help for one of my badges. It just says "earn this badge by defeating skulls". It doesn't say bosses or lieutenants or anything. I'll probably go wail away in the sewers for some badges once I get Dragon's Tail.

25 is within spitting distance for me now. Must... Level... Tonight...
