Happy belated "getting older than dirt" days to [livejournal.com profile] dianak and [livejournal.com profile] fuzbears and [livejournal.com profile] shawnj and [livejournal.com profile] grammaravenger!

I beat KOTOR2 within a week or so. I'm now playing through as an evil hateful darkside guy, although I keep getting lightside points while trying to gain influence with party members. :-p Silly party members.

I cancelled EQ2. Not because I don't enjoy the game, because I do. I cancelled because, as has become increasingly usual, fourth wall flaked out, I never made anything resembling friends in the game, and I can't afford it. I still have my CoH addiction going, and that is actually still fun and playable.

My Christmas loot wasn't anything spectacular like some of the people on my reading list have posted. I got to spend time with family and got free food and whatnot, which was a definite good thing. This is tempered by the being too broke to do anything and wondering where next month's rent is going to come from, but hey. Not much I can do about that.

I started running a D&D game with [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi and [livejournal.com profile] carebear_flare. I need to come up with the general layout of the next couple sessions. I've got me some ideas, some which build on an already established hook, some which will come from other hooks that are either already in place without the players knowing it or which they have unwittingly provided for me. *insert melodramatic devious cackle here* ... *or not* I got me some ideas. They'll enjoy them.

I need to know when the next Shadowrun game is! Is it in January? If so, what weekend? I can request time off come January! So I can use up my remaining vacation day to take that Sunday off and I should have vacation time at Booth again so I can take it off from there too! Must have Karma... must spend Karma... We went like three sessions without completing what we were working on. :-p

Okay, time to work.

I should be free any weekend in january for shadowrun or other stuff. Woohoo!

Yup. Lots of working. Doubletime is my friend.

Of course, that means this weekend is going to suck royally. I work through Thursday at the real job, then at 12am friday morning at the weekend job (it's the full timer's holiday since it falls on a weekend this year), then at 12am saturday morning, then at 12am sunday morning, and at 9am sunday morning back to the real job.

But it'll be a lot of money. x_x

A Red Robin Christmas

Well, if you're not doing anything after work on Thursday...I'm off that day and I'm willing to be "kidnapped" and take you to Red Robin as your Christmas present.

After all, eli at the holidays will be amusing.

I'm actually not sure if I'll be working on Thursday right now. I do know that we are having company, though. So I won't be able to do the Red Robin thing then. :(
