Real Life Update

jdotmiSo, I've been on vacation for the past week. That ends tonight because I work at midnight at Booth, but it's been a nice little break. I really really needed it. Too much stress lately, especially of the financial kind. Got a little bit of surprising relief on that front yesterday. At least, enough to keep me from bottoming out this month.
Plans are still up in the air on how to proceed from this point, but some things are becoming more clear. We are staying in this apartment another year, one way or the other. I like this place, I really do. It'd be hard to find something as nice for less money or at least reasonably similar for less money.
I have considered ditching the car ports, because we don't have much of a problem with parking. I like the car ports, though, so who knows.
We had Shadowrun last weekend. It went pretty well, although my character never being in the Astral before (being a Sorcerer and not a Full Mage) was very very confused. Things got really fucked up, but it was fun.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lilacmoon5 even ran a pseudo fair-tale. No system, just characters and a plot. It was fun as well.
I've not really been reading LiveJournal. I did go through and spot-check the journals of people I know in person, so I'm not totally out of the loop, but I've not been paying much attention this past week. So, if there's anything I missed that you think I might be wanting to read, toss a comment at me and let me know!
