Some Reviews.
I'd warn about spoilers, but if you didn't know there would be some, you don't deserve to not be spoiled.
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Saw this a couple weeks ago with
satyr_mi and
carebear_flare. Having skipped seeing Episode II at the theatre and waiting for DVD for it, I was somewhat worried about actually seeing this one at the theatre. II sucked so badly that I pretty much figured this one was doomed to suck. Fortunately, I was partially incorrect. It doesn't completely suck.
The Good:
Obi-Wan McGregor. Er, Ewan Kenobi. Er... You know, that guy.
Wind-up Toy Yoda vs. Darth Sidious.
Anakin vs Obi-Wan slash. This wasn't subtext, folks. This was big, flashy, slashy text.
Padme's line in the Senate.
Palpatine.
Padme: "You love him too." (See above, re slash.)
The Bad:
Padme and Anakin being in the same scene. Every time it sucked.
Hayden Christensen's acting in general. Just mute the sound when he's making noise and you'll be better off. Except that scene with the heavy breathing and the no shirt.
Angsty Vader.
Action Figure Jogging Preggers Padme. Pregnant women do not run like that. It's not possible.
Postpartum Padme. This didn't suck, but could have been much much better, and should have been much much closer to the reference for it from Episode VI. Her line went to quickly and the event was over to fast. Took out all of the feeling from the scene.
The Ugly:
The character of Padme getting turned into worthless pile of refuse. This is the same character who basically made the first two berable? What the hell?
Angsty Vader. Yes, he's in here twice.
The birth of Luke and Leia due to the glaring continuity error in regards to Leia and Luke's conversation on the bridge in the Ewok village in Episode VI about Leia's mother. Yes, this is sorta in here twice.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Saw this on Friday. I enjoyed it, but it seemed a bit long in some parts. It also doesn't have a real conclusion, as it were. It's still a good movie. Not going to go into detail on it or anything. Not enough stuff to break out. :-p

Willful denial does not make continuity. :-p

Luke: "Do you remember your mother? Your real mother?"
Leia: "Just a little bit. She died when I was very young."
Luke: "What do you remember?"
Leia: "Just...images, really. Feelings."
Luke: "Tell me."
Leia: "She was very beautiful. Kind, but...sad. Why are you asking me all this?"
Luke: "I have no memory of my mother. I never knew her."
Personally, I find it difficult to believe that she's talking about Bail Organa's wife.
Oh, well. It's beating a dead horse at this point.

And he's cute, so I hope some other director takes pity on him with a few good scripts...
