No matter how many "fixes" and "updates" they do to "improve" it, don't ever give in to the notion that EQ2 could even be remotely fun to look at again. There's a reason you dropped it like a hot potato after the trial month.

Pretty much everything. Tradeskills weren't nearly what they claimed they would be, and wound up being even worse time and money sinks as time went by. And, of course, once again crafted items are far overshadowed by dropped items, but then EQ has always been about who got the uberest loot off the monster with the most hitpoints ever anyway, so this doesn't really surprise me. The market system truly sucked, but from what I can see they have fixed that problem for the most part. Trying to walk around in either city on even my best system was akin to running a marathon in a sea of molasses. The character limit is true stupidity. Ohhh, they added two more slots! Ohhh, you could get 4 more slots by buying the overly fucking expensive station pass to play even more games that I don't want (and my EQ1 account is free anyway, so why the hell would I want to pay for that again? Hell, my old server doesn't even exist anymore since they merged it with another one).
