Time to yammer a bit.

Played some Sims 2 last night. Got my lonely shopkeeper to Elder status and a day past. 29 more sim-days to live according to SimPE. He's filthy stinking rich, but owns practically nothing. Can't wait for him to finally kick the bucket so I can post all the pictures and write the story for it. Not really any exciting pictures, mind you, but pictures nonetheless. Mostly pictures of the key business events that occurred. And the two robberies, both of which were apprehended by the cops, but not before the second one actually made off with his TV.

Played some City of Heroes as well. Did some Carnie bashing with Kung Ru. Quote of the night: "Finally done with the Carnies! (He said, in the middle of Madeleine Casey's story arc...)" Pondered doing some Longbow bashing with Kalleesta, but sleep was more important in the long run.

Waking up this morning was... interesting. So did not want to get up, but then my bladder said "You had how much water/soda yesterday? You last went pee when exactly? That's right, bitch, GET THE FUCK UP NOW!" I think it's eyes turned red and it started breathing fire at that point, but I'm not sure as I was busy stumbling to the bathroom.

And now, work time!

LOL, my bladder says that to me every morning. You should marry off your elder, otherwise all that cash will go to waste. ;)

Oh believe me I would, but part of the challenge is that he has to be a LONELY shopkeeper! He can't ever get married, can't have anyone move in with him, can't hire anyone to work at his shop, can't hire NPCs for any tasks. He can only earn money by working in his home business.

And, well... this is where he stands today.

Yeah. My richest Sim ever that wasn't cheating. o_O In fact, even richer than most of my Sims who WERE cheating!

It can be interesting. It reallyd epends on if you can stand to do a simulation game that essentially has no ending or real reward. :-p

at least you get days off from work in this one, although according to my aspirations, my sim wants to be in the slacker field....hmmm.

Hehe. The Slacker field is a nice one, but requires a HUGE network of friends for the top level. Doesn't require many skills, though. Plus, the Level 6 chance card can pay out about $60,000 if you get it right.
