There is a content worthy post to come at some point. This is not that point.

I can already tell this Sunday/Monday schedule is going to kick my ass. Working 4 to midnight Sunday, then having to be here at 7? Not fun.

And I'm having sinus headache issues. :-p At least I know what it is, since satyr_mi had the same problem this morning.


As for content? Short version: Loving the new living room setup. I'll post more about that later. Now I work.

I had this conversation this weekend while I was setting up my computer on lunch.

New Guy (walks out of the free book room): "So.. I've been working with a store on installing a new register."

::doubletake::

me: "What?"
NG: "I've been helping them to get their new register installed and we're at the software installation part"
me: "I need you to be more clear. (still standing in front of cafeteria) Was this register delivered to the store by us? or by Getronics"
NG: "umm I'm not sure. I got the case from Kyle"
me: "okay, if we delivered the register, then PI needs to deal with getting it installed"
NG: ::blank look::
me: "nevermind - go talk to Ryan".
