I got home so early yesterday! It was surreal! I can't wait for the day I'm not working 4/10 anymore on a regular basis. As much as I am not a morning person, I'd love the 7 to 4 simply because I'd get home sometime before I have to go to bed at night!

Installed The Sims 2 and all it's expansions (no Stuff packs, as I have none) on the new computer. It runs like a dream. I only played for about half an hour, though, before hopping over to Civ IV land. Played that for an hour before hopping into WoW land to do one quest turn in and update all of my character profiles on RPGOutfitter.

Did some chatting with people online during all of that. Alt+Tab on the new machine doesn't even phase it at all. It's a glorious thing.

So, today, not sure what I'm doing. I'm taking a small WoW break because I need a bit of a breather. Letalli's going to hit 60 within the next three weeks tops, and we have a Sunken Temple run scheduled for Friday evening. All the quests but one have greened out on me already for that. After that I'm going to grind Timbermaw faction up to at least Friendly and then probably go back to the Western Plaguelands to do the AD quests there.

I think I'm going to do some more Sims 2 gaming tonight. I need to get Pleasantview all set up on the new machine. Have to add Sim State University to it as well as Downtown and Bluewater Village. Need to marry off Don to Cassandra, get Mortimer and Dina engaged (but I don't get them married at her place), get Nina started on her career path, get Daniel and Mary-Sue's relationship patched up, get Lillith and Angela friendly with one another, get Brandi un-pregnant and make her meet Darren Dreamer.

I should also go back to the Realms Beyond game for Civ IV that I'm playing. I'm about halfway done with it, I think. I'll probably get pasted by an AI soon anyway. But I want to finish it and write up the report so that it's ready on reporting day. I already know a few things I did spectacularly wrong, but I've never played at Monarch level before anyway.

Well, it's almost time for my lunch to be over and for me to get back to work. So, off I go!

I spend half my day not at home. Hate it. And I'm still working two jobs! x_x

Let's hope the day comes soon where you don't have to go 4-10's. That's too much stupidity in a concentrated time period.

I hear you on the WOW thing - My mage is doing battlegrounds for fun and picking flowers. All the quests are green to me, too. I have to read up again on this instance. It's a royal pain as it's twisty and turny AND multi-level. I've been through it several times and I still can't quite get it. :P Maybe I'll take Ice through to get the lay of the land.

I just got the Darkmoon Amulet on my rogue. :D Now for my mage. :(

Have a good rest of the day. Don't forget - It's FALL now! :D:D

It totally is fall now! Which is a mixed bag. :-p I like fall... sorta... except for that part where the trees decide to go all spoogey and make me unable to breathe...

I've been pretty bad with my playtime lately -- in that there hasn't been much of it. My intentions to level up this weekend went by the wayside as more things had to be done around the house, plus I'm semi-under the weather so I've been somewhat lethargic lately which doesn't help.

I have, however, been leveling my warrior on Feathermoon a bit -- he's up to 52 and is closing in on 53. I'm debating moving him to your shard, rather than leveling the rogue up. We'll see. The wife told me it was OK to do it -- just now have to decide if I'm ready to move him out of the big guild he's in on Feathermoon.

Well, our guild would never turn down a warrior, we've got more priests than tanks at the moment. (Go figure)
However, the important thing is to play and have fun. We'd love to have him though. (We're small enough that we're just now getting into ST and then Scholo/Strat).

Our kidlet just started 7th grade so we're all up about getting him back on the straight and narrow. So I understand the whole "life getting in the way" thing.

I know that you and hubby play, does kidlet? Just curious.

Yep - he's a lvl 36 Hunter. Of course, he's way not quite so serious a player as I am. But it's fun to play together as a family.

Ah that's very cool. One thing that I wished for growing up was that my family could get into the games that I enjoyed -- RPGs (pen & paper and computer), but that never happened. I was like an alien born into that family, I was very, very different from them.

Monarch level? *shudders* I can't even imagine. Is anyone still alive? Interesting how everyone loves Pleasantview so much to me. I never really liked it,and enjoyed Veronaville much more. But then again, I rarely play modern hoods, so setting up a medival hood in Veronaville just seemed to make sense.

Have fun on your new comp!

I don't think there has even been a war yet in the game. I'm pretty sure some people will already have domination and conquest victories before the date I'm already at in the game, though! The people there are frightening with how good they are at playing. Some of them even managed to paste Diety level AI's in events.

I'm getting comfortable with Noble, although I tend to go too slow during it. I'm horrible about building enough workers, and I go on complete infrastructure sprees. Yet I still manage to not build the most important buildings to each of my cities. ~_~ I had a game where I didn't build a single Granary until 1500 AD. ~_~

The Sims is just one game that Pam or I couldn't get into. Just wasn't fun for us, though, that said glad to hear that you enjoy it! Also glad to hear that your new system runs things so well, it's a nice feeling to have things run nicer for us on the systems.

My new PC is damn fast, and I enjoy playing on it most times. Though, I still have been tending to play WoW on my Mac in the other room for some reason -- unless Pam and I are playing together that is (both PCs are next to one another). I guess I like being in 'my geek room' rather than in the library.
