...I'll have to jabber on today about topics.

In particular, I want to know what you think about the followint topics on people's LiveJournals.

Sex. What's too much? What's not enough? What is "omg ewwww"?

Masturbation. See above.

Sexuality. See above.

Personal beliefs. See above.

Pictures. See above.

Now, mind you, I have some reasons for these topics. Part of it dealing with the nifty new /friendfriend/ feature for those of us with paid accounts. I can control who I list as a friend, but it's who they list as a friend that can get interesting. You know, such communities as [livejournal.com profile] sextips and [livejournal.com profile] nakedparts2

Visually I have seen nothing that would make eyes pop out. Textually, maybe. Mind you, I have virtually nada in terms of inhibitions in what I will read. Hell, I have virtually nada in terms of inhibitions in what I would say, but I try to keep my Journal to a PG-13 level. Yes that includes such words as cock, shit, motherfucker, whore, and bitch. Hell, that includes pretty much EVERY swear word out there because to be perfectly honest YOUR KIDS KNOW THOSE WORDS ANYWAY.

My not at all humble opinion is that anything pic-like should not be posted on someone's live journal, except maybe in a friends only state, and even that is pushing it. Get a webspace and go to town.

So, what do you think? What would you never ever ever want to see in someone's LiveJournal? This is a generic someone, not me in particular. :-p I have plenty I don't want to see in my own live journal. :-p

Well, personally... I think that anyone has the right to post whatever they want to in their livejournals. And the pictures they post are always hosted somewhere else, so it's not like LiveJournal is eating the expense of hosting these pictures.

I think it's polite to put an LJ cut tag when you have pictures like that, specifically saying "HEY this is a riskeƩ kind of picture, please don't click if you're expecting more than porn." [well, maybe not in those words, but you know what I mean.] But seriously, if I'm bothering to look at other people's LiveJournals, it's my right to click the little X button. Goes along with the whole freedom-of-speech thing [in my opinion].. If I don't want to see it, I don't have to look at it.

Very true. I can handle it in lj-cut without issue. But, at the same time, you could also just provide a link to the page where you are hosting the pictures anyway. Just as a possibility.

And the back button is so your friend. *nods sagely*
