See, I hope my child is reasonable. I was a reasonable child. My parents always told me "If you want to do something, let us know so we can supervise and you stay safe." And I was never interested in drinking or drugs or anything, but I knew that if I ever wanted to try something, my parents would let me.
I hope that my child is reasonable enough that I can say "If you have to hide it, or if you feel guilty about it, you probably shouldn't be doing it."
Then again, my mom got the Kama Sutra from the library when I became sexually active because I told her I wasn't enjoying sex like I thought I probably should have been. I have the most awesome parents ever.
