Next time I move I am SO hiring movers. There isn't a spot on my body that isn't sore, and we're still not done. Granted, all we have left is trash to throw out, a few small boxes, maybe a laundry basket full of the remaining kitchen stuff, and to clean the old place. But still.

Ooooooh yeah. After the last time I helped friends move, I decided that I was hiring movers for myself. And I'm so glad I did. Granted, it cost a LOT of money (all those books!), but it was worth it.

Believe it or not, we had as many boxes (if not more) of CDs as we had of books. But around 1/3 of our books are gaming books, aka hardcover bricks of DOOM. And we moved ALL of them over this past weekend.

So hiring movers. Heh.

Oh I'll be fine when I get home tonight from work. And I'll be able to carry stuff. Took some advil, going to do some walking around when I get a free moment. It'll all be good.

Congrats that you're moved in, even if it made you feel like a truck hit ya. One positive from it is at least you weren't moving towns away or something, that would have been a major pain.

That woulda been easier. Down to truck, drive, truck, then up to new apartment. This was Down Three Flights, Cross Parking Lot, Up Three Flights. x_x

Yea, that's true, good point. Though then you could have hired a couple of burly movers to carry it all in from the truck! When we move I have no illusion of doing anything more than unpacking and packing boxes, even before the horrid back problems I'm cursed with for life.
