City of AFK?

So, since yesterday was spent babysitting an incredibly irate cat, I spent a lot of time logged in to City of Villains. Logged in standing at a mission door. With a sidekick. While an entire army of TWO OTHER PLAYERS decimated the mission map (on a team of 6, sometimes 8) to farm (tech mission? seriously?) and PL alts on second accounts.

I'd feel really dirty if I hadn't gone from less than 1/4 of a blip into 46 to halfway through 48 in that time frame.

Okay, I still feel dirty. Not that it'd stop me from doing it all over again, cuz the easy free 20,000 prestige and 4,000,000+ infamy I got for my time made me less cranky about it. Now it's back to soloing my story arcs to at least 49. But I bet 49 to 50 will be done on a team just to make it not take an eternity. Then I'll freak out about trying to not screw up the efficiency expert's missions (cuz, seriously, Positron deserves to be smacked for that badge).

The weird part was after I turned off Supergroup mode and started getting Base Salvage. o_O I was very confused.

Still, should reach my goal of having Kall to 50 before Issue 12 hits, so I can make a Blood Widow. But the Wolf Spiders look interesting, too... Decisions decisions...

Edit: And I realized yesterday that like half the people I had put on my global friends list vanished from it. Probably in the last round of global chat exploding, and it took me until now to notice it. -_-

I've gotten the odd piece of base salvage lately, too, on characters who aren't even in SGs/VGs... I don't understand.

So excited about the villain epics as well... my villain is halfway through 47 now. I think he'll be hitting 50 WAY before I12 is ready to go live, and then what am I gonna do with myself? @_@

Then the Rikti invade. And I bring out my minions for a Zombie Dance Party!

When Kall hits 50... I think I'll go to my levle 50 scrapper and start IOing her out. Kall is already freakishly IOd. Like, she has more set bonuses than I can read in one sitting.

Yeah. Can't get away with it in WoW, though. Heh. Not many characters in WoW that can take on full sized instance spawns on their own. ;)
