It's odd. I like Borders WAY more, and their card is so much better than Barnes & Nobleses.

I always feel weird in B&N. Even growing up when I didn't work at Borders. :-p The stores just didn't feel right for some reason.

They're creepy and corporate, and everyone there THINKS they're working in a trendy independent bookstore, and they're SO NOT.

It's not the people for me, though. It's the look and feel of the stores themselves. They just don't feel as comfortable. Granted, I've only been in about five stores, so maybe some of their other stores have the comfortable feel that I'm used to in Borders.

I should really check out paeryn's store. :p See what that one is like. We've got a relatively newish one near me that I've been in twice and really don't like.
