BREAKING NEWS: NOBODY CARES There are no words to express my rage. The only "breaking news" for this case would involve catching whoever the jackass is who did it. Everything else is just grasping for an extension on your fifteen minutes of famous misery.

When they catch the asshole who did it, then it's news. But this case has been beat to death in the news. I know they want to spur more people to come forward with information or some shit, but seriously. It's been ten years. Or more.

Besides, we already knew her family was innocent. That's been said over and over and over.

Just to play the devils advocate, the only reason I could possibly see to announce this "news" (and I use the world lightly) is to further exonerate the family members. I imagine that the cloud of suspicion is still hovering over them pretty densely.

Again, just trying to figure out why the news would possibly matter, not saying that I like the fact that they're continuing to use whatever sensationalist story they can -- overuse really.

Though we all know that the reason they use these stories is because the TMZ type consumer eats it up, sadly. :(

Oh I'm sure it is. And I know some people who will never be convinced, even if security camera footage showing exactly what happened mysteriously appeared and it turned out it was a gang of midget clowns who did it.

Though, you're right ... no matter what proof comes out in the end people will never stop assuming that they had something to do with it. I mean given how obsessively they had her doing the modeling thing peoples perceptions are pretty much set in stone regarding that family. Can't blame it to some degree.
