I'm alive! Really!

Eagerly awaiting the new season of True Blood. Got season 1 (twice, first copy had two disk 5's and no disk 3's) and have been enjoying it far too much. Especially with enhanced viewing. Also been re-reading the first four books. Need to get the rest since they are introducing characters in season 2 that don't appear in the books until book 5 and later.

Been watching a lot of Dollhouse on iTunes. Probably more than is healthy. I even made a small number of icons from "Man on the Street". Because, ya know, I post oh so much...

Been playing City of Heroes and Civilization IV: Colonization and World of Warcraft. It's really hard to stay in one game for longer than 30 minutes at a time right now, though. -_- My ability to focus has gone pfffffzt!

Netflix is evil. In a good way. The Golden Compass was a good movie and they need to make the sequel now. Currently getting disks of Birds of Prey, which was cheesy and somewhat over the top but was still a pretty decent show.

Just finished a huge project at work and am now waiting to launch said project and train people on it. Time to get back to work

My daughter just got the 1st disc of the 1st season of "True BLood" on Netflix, then promptly took it to her friend's house to watch. I guess I will have to wait to watch it. We don't get HBO, so daughter is THRILLED to finally be able to see the series, as she likes the books.

Oh, and further down my Netflix list I have the series "Connections", which I am really looking forward to! I used to love watching episodes on A&E years ago.

Right now we're getting Birds of Prey and Enterprise, then it's on to Doctor Who, Forever Knight, Torchwood, and I can't remember if there's anything else in there or not. Heh.

It'd be cool if you could make a clear enough animated gif that you see her being all helpless struggly, then flash the code phrase, then see her head snap up to "kill" mode. :D

Yeah... I might try it, but I haven't ever been able to figure out animated gif's with the software I have (older version of photoshop + image ready) We'll see though. :)

Netflix rocks. We had Blockbuster online for the past couple of years because we got a great deal, where we had three disks out at a time and then could exchange them in-store for anything we wanted, and they shipped us the next on our list. So we could have up to six out at once. They nuked our account last month, exchanging at the store counted as one of our 'out' disks until we returned it, so we dumped them.

Streaming to my 360 via Netflix is just plain AWESOME. So happy we switched back. :)
