Can't wait for this to actually come out here in the US. So far all the press on it has been excellent, so that's a definite plus.

Now back to being the only person here for an hour.

It looks like a Nook-lite. If I read it correctly, slightly smaller, maybe more paperback sized? Has some nice features, no WiFi or 3G, but that's a decent trade off for the price.

I work at Coles (part of Indigo Books and Music up here in Canada) and we launched the Kobos. I nabbed one right off, and I adore it. It's a no-frills e-reader, and apart from a wee issue with PDFs, it's pretty much everything I want out of an e-reader.

It's been amazing to watch the launch - we can't keep them in stock, and people are calling every day for them. It's like the Wii of the book reading world...
