Well, today was actually kind of disappointing. Well, not entirely true. I had a good time when I actually did go out. Got home from work at 8:30am. Went to bed. Woke up around 2:30. Ryan was over visiting Keith and apparently Keith had been called in to work because the afternoon guy on weekends called in. So Keith was getting ready to leave and Ryan was heading out. First time I'd even seen Ryan in almost a year I think.

So, since Keith was gone (and he was who I planned on going shopping and out to eat with) I called up Lisa. Of course, she was just heading out to go shopping with her friends Jessica and Lisa (different Lisa). She said she'd call me when she got back from Meijer with them and we would head to the mall and to dinner. That was around 4ish I talked to her. She got home at like 6:30. :-p Crazy girl.

So, we went to Briarwood Mall and to Electronics Boutique. Didn't go anywhere else in the mall since we were both starving. I bought Super Mario Sunshine and Icewind Dale 2. Mario is fun. Haven't installed Icewind Dale 2 yet.

We left the mall and headed to Olive Garden. Olive Garden was going to be a 40 minute wait. We said "fuck that" and left to go to Red Robin. The parking lot of Red Robin looked like something lifted straight from the expressways into LA during rush hour, so we were like "well, Wendy's has Mt Dew, so let's go there." Wendy's was, thankfully, not busy as hell and so we got food (my first meal in 20 hours) and had way too much fun making perverted comments about the consistency of Frostys.

Then went back to Lisa's apartment and watched the E! True Hollywood Story on Ginger Lynn. Why? Because it's the E! True Hollywood Story and it sucks you in like a hoover.

Then I went home. Played a lil Sunshine. Packed up the gamecube and brought it to work with me.

Played more Sunshine.

Now done playing Sunshine for a lil while and posting in my Journal.

More fun filled goodness tomorrow. Or something.

~- ... i knew eventually everyone would see the light and get Mario Sunshine ... even Kristie =) ... now of course I get to sit back and watch everyone else flounder to obtain Yoshi, and Shine Sprites! ... -~

~- ... of course, if anyone I know manages to beat it in under a week, (WITHOUT guides/faqs etc), I'll sulk... since I could have probably done that if i'd had more time to play it... -~

~- ... and no.. i didn't cheat either :P ... -~

I have Yoshi already. So far not really all that thrilled, but then I haven't used him anywhere other than the home town.

I did buy the official guide when I bought the game. Glad I did, but I'm not using it all the time. I spent a good 20 minutes this morning on the beach with the mirrors trying to figure out what the hell I was supposed to do. Wound up exiting and doing another area instead. :-p

How could anyone resist playing countless hours of any new Mario game?
