Food

So a conversation I had last night has gotten me into the mindset to, once again, watch what I eat. You know the drill. Daily post detailing my eating habits for the day, starting with today. I'll just update this post as I eat more and more food today.

As it was, I was eating a lot of food in any given day. Particularly at breakfast and dinner, so those are the two meals that I am going to pay extra special attention too.

--edit: Also going to keep track of costs, since I did just take on a huge monthly payment recently.

Breakfast today:
1 cinnamon raisin bagel, toasted, buttered
1 serving (mini cup thingy) of Fruit on the Bottom yogurt (apple cinnamon variety)
1 small carton of chocolate milk
Cost: $2.28 (edited in at 9:16 am)

Snacky:
1 20oz bottle of Diet Pepsi
Cost: $1.00 (gotta love vending machine prices)

Lunch:
1 Turkey and cheese sandwich on a croissant (.5 lb total weight)
About 2.5 cups of rice pilaf (large side dish)
1 20oz bottle of Diet Pepsi
Cost: $5.40

Dinner:
Small bowl of Spaghetti with Ragu Meat Sauce
1 glass of Mountain Dew

After Dinner Gorging:
4 chewey granola bars. ~_~

Good luck! It's sometimes hard to do. Have you ever thought about shopping at Trader Joes? I don't even know if they have one where you live, but I just went and got some great organic stuff. It's yummy!

Never heard of one of those so I'll go out on a limb and say we don't have them up here.

There is a store called Whole Foods that sells all sorts of organic foods, though. I haven't been there in years though.
