Ok, so the title of the post is misleading. Suffer. ;)

I bought "The Sims: Unleashed" last night. You can have pets now for your Sims! This includes Dogs and Cats. Well, more like Puppies and Cats but the Puppies are capable of reproducing which is fairly weirdsome. I mean, one of the Dogs you can get looks like a Golden Retriever puppy and all I could think was "I betcha it never gets to be full sized..."

The pets are soo cute! You can't control them as well as your normal Sims, but you can get them to move to specific places and you can get your Sims to interact with them and help them learn tricks and obedience and how to hunt (for cats) and how to not pee on the floor (for dogs).

And spiral staircases! OMG HEAVEN!!!

AND YOU CAN BUILD A HOUSE WITH NO FAMILY ON THE LOT YOU WANT TO BUILD ON!!!!

AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD HAS 41 LOTS NOW!!!!!

*ahem*

I only had one version of SIMs, and I didn't really like it because they complained too much.

My husband used to play it all the time, though. He once locked them all in a house without doors, and they beat each other to death. And another time, he had this really smart scientist who didn't know how to cook, and he locked the door on him while he was cooking, and the stove caught fire, and he burned to death....

See, this is why I cheat and have things like the Magic Espresso Machine and the Magic Fruitcake that make everybody's bars totally green so they are totally happy and mellow all the time and can therefore focus on chatting with friends and playing with toys and plotting the deaths of all their neighbors. ^_~

OH! I'm so jealous. I won't be able to get unleashed until I get a new computer, which I'm checking out........but so far it's not been easy. Tell me, do you have vacation as well? I'm not planning on getting vacation.........but I want those child interactions! I was hoping that if I bought unleashed, the interactions would be included.

I have all of them. I even bought Deluxe, cuz I'm a sucker and all that.

I don't think the Child interactions are in Unleashed. I think you need Vacation for that. :-\
