The WB's CEO Levin to resign

BWAHAHAHAHA!

Looks like he was going to have his job changed back to what it used to be so he left. :-p

Technically, he's still working for the company in general, he's just not in charge of the network anymore.

I don't remember exactly when I woke up. I've been having problems staying asleep lately. My bed is really old and doesn't really have anything resembling support anymore, so I wake up with some pain which pretty much forces me to get up and get on with my day. Plus it doesn't help to have a cat who demands attention starting at 6a.m. because his food dish is empty.

So, I got up, fed the cats, and proceeded to start my morning. I took my shower and got dressed and got my bag together to take to work. I managed to forget to bring my book with me, which was quite annoying. I decided to play some City of Heroes before heading out the door, so I did. I don't remember what character I played, though. I think I played Jareth Infinity, my newish blaster.

I finally headed out the door. I didn't eat breakfast at home because I played City of Heroes too long. I drove in to work. Took the semi-back way since US 23 was a parking lot by our apartment. Got in a little bit early, got some breakfast, and punched in for work.

My work day was pretty typical for a Monday. We always feel understaffed on Mondays. Somehow our callstats for last year seemed to indicate that it was okay to have a quarter of our techs scheduled off on Mondays. I'm not sure how, but that's the way it works here. Nevermind that every other Monday is the day that payroll gets processed and that the Monday's that payroll doesn't process there are other payroll related things to deal with. We always get lots of calls on Monday. Our horrific hold time from Monday attests to this.

Every Monday I have an escalation meeting to attend with our POS Group. That would be Point of Sale, although sometimes other translations can fit as well. That meeting was fairly standard with nothing much out of the ordinary. I did get called in to a last minute meeting later in the day. Well, it was last minute for me. My supervisor isn't feeling 100% and had about 5% of her voice yesterday. She wanted me there in case she couldn't talk. :-p

After work, I was planning on doing a quick Meijer run for cat food, soda, and milk. [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi asked me to pick up a canister of Carnation Instant Breakfast as well. One would think that four items on the list would translate to a low bill. $70 later, I had basically done our weekly shopping for two weeks. We probably will have to buy more lunchmeat, but still. Stuff was on sale. I bought said stuff. I managed to avoid buying a lot of said stuff, however. We've got enough dry food to last us half a month if we cooked and ate nothing else. Seriously. And that doesn't include the huge amounts of Ramen we bought the other week.

So, I got home. [livejournal.com profile] satyr_mi had made a casserole for dinner, so I ate a bowl of that. Played some City of Heroes with him, and said a few times that I needed to change the cat boxes. I never managed to get to that last one. I'll have to do that tonight. After we stopped playing, we sat out in the living room and talked for a little bit. Cuddled a little bit, which was mostly me using him as a pillow since I was so damn tired. I then decided to go read a bit and go to bed.

Since I keep mentioning I'm reading books and not mentioning them, I suppose I should do that. :-p After seeing Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban a couple weeks ago, I decided to re-read the series. I'm currently in the last hundred pages or so of book 2. I'm hoping I'll be able to re-finish book 5 in this read through. I get about halfway through it and want to kill Umbridge and Harry and Ron and Hermione. But mostly Umbridge.
