I'm still all jittery. I no longer have the vaguely nauseous feeling, though, which I guess is a good thing. A lot of stuff happened at once. This is never a good thing. Especially when I can't do anything about most of it and the rest of it is probably my imagination.

Crazy stuff.

So, I have a bunch of D&D stuff partially written up, but I don't like it. It needs to be redone. It started out okay, but now it just looks way too Episode One for my taste. Thankfully, not in a Jar Jar sense. Cuz then someone would need to slap me.

Oh, and writing out stat blocks for D&D characters well and truly sucks. I mean, the amount of information you have to condense into it is just absurd. Especially for characters who should never see combat in a game anyway. I mean, really, did we need to know Elminster's stats in Forgotten Realms? Do we need even half of the NPCs they provide for Greyhawk? Other than the total fanboy spoogefest that such revelations encouraged. Shouldn't it be enough to say "if you are stupid enough to pick a fight with him/her/it, you deserve to die faster than Drew Barrymore in Scream."

Of course, there is the perverse pleasure of seeing the really twisted shit your mind can come up with and how it will play out on paper. The fact that you would never ever use this shit is beside the point.

Maybe I'll just work on some more history. And wish I could find all my old notes and maps.

3.5. AD&D went to 2nd edition, which lasted forever at TSR. Wizards released 3.0 a few years ago and just upgraded it to 3.5 in the past year or so.
